Why was Prelude Acidic born?
Because to date there are only neutral products on the market that are unable to eliminate mineral contamination such as, for example, limescale stains, which in addition to compromising the sealing protections previously applied, can be difficult to eliminate and cause damage to the bodywork’s clearcoat, which must necessarily be polished to be restored.
Preludio Acidic by Labocosmetica, was specially developed to eliminate these inorganic mineral contaminations. For example, after a rainy day or a snowfall, the car can accumulate significant quantities of inorganic dirt on the bodywork, especially if it is sandy rain. This happens because the water, as it evaporates, leaves mineral deposits which, over time, tend to form a layer that is difficult to remove.
Preludio Acidic is the first acidic pre-treatment created specifically for waterless car washing, suitable for both the waterless and rinseless techniques.

Preludio Acidic works as a powerful acidic presak, dissolves and delicately sequesters limescale and mineral deposits and other contamination. It also eliminates the thin patina generated by limescale residues that is deposited on the bodywork even on the nano-sealant and ceramic protections applied, without the need to rub the cloth on the surface, making the operation safer.
This slight formation of mineral contamination can sometimes be invisible, but it represents the main cause of loss of shine as, over time, it stratifies and makes the car appear more opaque. This effect, however, is particularly evident on black cars or on the plastics near the windows in the form of white spots.
Therefore, it is essential to use Preludio Acidic not only as a rejuvenation treatment for protections and coatings, but also as a routine cleaning product for the maintenance and elimination of these unsightly contaminations.
Preludio Acidic also restores and revives the performance of nanotechnological coatings and sealants, restoring brilliance to the treated surface. In fact, once the part of mineral contamination that prevented its full expressiveness has been eliminated, the protection can manifest itself in all its splendor, beading effect and sheeting effect.
Its main mission is to prepare the surface for a subsequent wash without water (Waterless) or with minimal water (Rinseless), making the process easier and much safer. Used periodically, it eliminates that grayish patina that makes black and matt paints dull, restoring their original shine.
In fact, thanks to its emollient formula, Preludio Acidic by Labocosmetica penetrates deeply into dirt, dissolving it and lifting it from the surface, greatly facilitating the waterless washing process and making it safer. In this way you avoid rubbing the cloth to eliminate stubborn dirt, also eliminating the use of abrasive cloths, thus reducing the risk of creating swirls. This is because the dirt, transformed into liquid form, is no longer solid, making the passage of the cloth much safer.
Preludio Acidic is a versatile detergent that offers a notable ability to break down dirt and mineral contamination, which a neutral or alkaline product cannot guarantee, without compromising the safety of the most delicate surfaces on cars, motorbikes, bicycles and airplanes.
3pH Combined washing system
To ensure the same effectiveness in cleaning organic dirt, we have developed Preludio Alkaline with alkaline pH. In combination with Preludio Acidic and Idrosave, our Polymeric Rinseless enriched with nano-sealants, you obtain the 3pH washing system which exploits the power of the combined pH.
This system has been specially designed to deal with all types of dirt, thus guaranteeing optimal treatment for every cleaning need.
Recommended dilutions:
For cleaning rims and obvious limescale deposits:Dilute the product in a ratio of 1:5. This concentration is ideal for effectively removing impurities from the rims and for treating surfaces affected by limescale deposits, ensuring deep cleaning. If limescale deposits persist after using Preludio Acidic, it is advisable to use a specific water stain remover such as Energo.
After sandy rain or in the presence of strong mineral contamination: Use a dilution of 1:10. This will allow you to eliminate traces left by sandy rain or mineral deposits, restoring the bodywork to its original splendor.
For the rejuvenation of the coating and maintenance cleaning of bodywork and plastics: For a more frequent action, ideal for the rejuvenation of surfaces treated with coating or for maintenance cleaning, a dilution of 1:50. This approach ensures the removal of impurities while keeping surface protection intact.

HOW TO USE PRELUDIUM - ACID
- Mineral residues: Often caused by hard water, mineral residues can leave streaks and stains on the surface of the bodywork that an acid pre-wash can remove.
- Limescale deposits: Similar to mineral residues, limescale deposits can form due to the evaporation of water on the bodywork, leaving whitish stains.
- Mineral-laden rain such as sandy rain can leave permanent stains if not treated in time. An acid prewash can neutralize and remove these stains from the bodywork.
- Industrial dirt: Particles and residues from industrial plants can deposit on the bodywork, making it dull and dirty. An acidic pre-wash helps dissolve and remove these particles.
- Surface oxidation: While it may not act as a specific paint restoration product, an acid prewash can help reduce the appearance of surface oxidation.
Renew PPF protection:
Preludio Acidic works on the PPF by dissolving and removing residues such as mineral deposits, water stains or other substances that a neutral detergent cannot address. The acidity of the product breaks the chemical bonds between dirt and the PPF surface, allowing the film to be purified without damaging it. The PPF will appear clearer and cleaner, and the car surface will feel smoother to the touch and return to its natural hydrophobicity.
STEP 1
Dilute Preludio Acidic according to the specific indications for the desired treatment.
STEP 2
Distribute the product evenly on the contaminated areas to be treated.
STEP 3
Leave to act for about a minute.
STEP 4
Proceed to remove dirt using the waterless or rinseless method.
